how many mL in a teaspoon?

how many mL are in a teaspoon? i ask b/c my mucomyst rx is written to do 5cc's 3 times a day.

and, a cc is equivalent to a mL, right?

...i know, i know, how could i get to be 28 w/ CF and ask that? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

But I'll second the answer that 5mL = 5cc= 1tsp.

ok, wow, so i'm supposed to be taking a tsp. of mucomyst three times a day...that seems like a lot! we'll see how my belly handles it...

I took a measuring cup from when my dad was in the hospital and it has all those measurments on it. I love it. They are the ones they put their pills in.

depends on the size of your teaspoon lol. But generally speaking an 'imperial teaspoon' is indeed 5ml.
