How many of you get the Pnuemonia shot as well as the flu shot?

Check with your pediatrician. Haley may have already received a vaccine to cover pneumococcal pneumonia. I went through this a couple years ago with my ped. Maggie had gotten a series of vaccines called Prevnar, which covers most of the pneumococcal stuff(someone correct me if I'm wrong.) Anyhow, I'm sure when she's an older CF'er she'll need the pneumovax shot which is good for 5 years.

My husband does get the pnuemonia shot as well (I think that it is every 3 or 5 years...something like that anyway). I don't get it, just get the flu shot.
