My teenage daughter has been having problems with her stomach for over five months now. She kept getting backed up and having leakage despite being on clearlax every day. She had numerous washouts through her g-tube despite. Her stomach is now clear, being on 750 ml of peglyte every day but she's still having issues with leakage.Any suggestions?

Not sure if this will help, but have you ever tried a gluten free diet? My son has cf and autism. He has struggled with problems for years. We thought it was diarrhea but what was really happening was he was constipated and the diarrhea was all that could get out. He had some oddities in his stomach biopsies and we were told it was celiac so we started the gluten free diet. Best thing we ever did for him. His bowel movements and other problems improved greatly. Have you ever thought she may have a gluten allergy? That may be something to talk to with your doctor. We do a gluten/casin free diet with Jacob for 8 years now and the difference is unbelievable. Good luck, Janelle

We suspected celiac because it runs in our family but she was tested for it and it came back negative.

She could have a gluten/wheat allergy or intolerance have you ever tried to just test yourself and remove these ingredients for about 6-8 weeks to see if there is any improvement? I really hope she feels better soon. Janelle
