Hi all,
I wrote in last week so upset that the dr. saw a slight bright spot on the lower bowel on my ultrasound. This is after the tech. told us everything looked perfect and my husband left! Anyway, went in again yesterday to the same perinatal center. I saw a different techinician and dr. (the head of the center this time) and they didn't see a thing wrong. I am really confused. He said he doesn't see the need for me to have anymore ultrasounds since I am only two and 1/2 weeks to delivery. The dr. last week wanted me to have weekly ones. We opted not to do an amnio this pregnancy because we wouldn't do anything any different. We have had these level II ultrasounds every couple weeks though and last week (36 weeks) was the first sign of a problem. Apparently it is not there anymore. Does anyone have similar experience with things changing but still meaning CF? Of course I'm clinging to the hope that this is a good sign, but who knows? I know ultrasounds are not fool proof, but in my first pregnancy they didn't get enough sample for the amnio and I just didn't want to go through that again. My daughter also showed the bright bowel at 20 weeks on. I was just curious what others experiences were.
Thanks,
Zoe mom to Kate wCF and new one on the way soon!
