Just wondered if anyone has heard how Terri's (Kayleesgrandma) mom is doing since she had her surgery this week. I keep thinking of her and praying for her. Her Mom's surgery was scheduled for 5:30 IOWA time. Not sure if they started on time & it was expected to be a few hours.

Terri has a lot of other things to deal with today so not sure when I will have a chance to talk with her.

If I hear something before she posts, I will let you know......

For those of you also wondering, Terri just told me that her mom made it through the surgery fine, she's in a lot of pain which I'm hoping they'll be able to manage sufficiently.

Well, hello everyone! Thanks Debbi, for asking...my mom is in a lot of pain now, but it looks like she will be ok. I am sooo tired, and didn't even get laptop out of car untill now. Just wanted to check in with everyone. I am having her husband bring up the cards she got--he brought a card that Leah and Reece sent--so cute and I read it to her and she loved it.

Leah said that you all were calling her "Wonder Woman"...and that certainly is what she is...she is determined to walk again..which is good to hear. Her spirit is still strong--I can't believe her endurance--at her age.

So thanks for thinking of me, and my mom...I am feeling overwhelmed by gratitude...and this whole thing--I hope it's over for the time being.<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
