HTS & Nosebleeds?

We have been noticing nosebleeds (small & more like ooze vs pouring) in M lately.

They seem to occur almost everytime he has HTS, and occasionally other times.

Just curious if anyone else has this issue with HTS, or if it is just the dry air.....

There could very well be a direct connection Tom Tom. Is he using a face mask or a mouth piece? Face mask would allow his nose to get irritated by the HTS.

It could be dry air tho the HTS should help that & last, but not least is coughing or even holding in a cough....

So many things can be causing it. There was another thread about nose bleeds recently also. Another thought given his medical issues....does he happen to have high blood pressure for his age by any chance?

I guess I havent given you any real answers, but to let you know it doesnt surprise me. HTS is great, but it can be irritating!

He is using a mask, so I'm thinking that is what it is.

And while his blood pressure is ok, you did remind me that his platelet count is very low (thanks to a crappy liver) so that could compound it as well.

Thank you even if you didn't really answer anything <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

Austin was having issues with the nose bleeds but we contributed it to the dry air. But he has not had any since *knock on wood* he stopped the HTS to get ready to start the Tiger II Study. He also uses a mask. He tries the other but prefers the mask.(hands free to do other things)
