I have no color in my face I wonder if this happens to others I mean I am so White. I am told this all the time that i dont look good. Is this just me? Would love to here from others thanks Kathy

maybe have your doc check your iron level. with cf and being female it is highly likely. my color improved once I started supplementing with iron (ferrous sulfate), I also noticed better body temp regulation....no more shivers and being cold a lot of the time. I think I still am a bit deficient, despite the supplementation, but not quite as much.

I actually have done iron infusions (didnt know how expensive they were until my last infusion.. yikes) but I LOVE them, I immediately can tell a difference in how I feel overall... more energy, more color etc. they last anywhere from 3-9 months I believe. I got one done in June and Im still feeling great.
If you are anemic enough, they may have you do the infusion b/c its faster and more efficient than a cf'er taking it as a supplement just b/c iron is hard to absorb for normal people and then on top of it, having cf w/ our digestive issues.

My son is usually pretty pale too - I always kind of wondered if that went with cf too.

Are you taking your CF vitamins? My daughter takes Vitamax and she also takes Vitamin D supplements. She had to go without her vitamins before because there was a problem getting them and she got REALLY pale! she's still pretty white but just taking those vitamins make her look like she has a lot more color and it makes her look a lot healthier.

Heh there....if you will look through previous posts (do a search) you will see this discussion ). My daughter, Zoe, is very pale, my bestfriend, Mel (passed in 12-09) was also very pale. I know of a few cf'ers that have color, but for the most part, they are all kind of fair.
