Hello Everyone,
I got a call from my brother-in-law this a.m. at 7 that I needed to go over and get their kids (3 of them) because my sister was going into labor. So I race over (she lives 2 streets away) and changed the kids clothes, got them ready. So I take them back to my house, call my mom for some back up help, and then my phone rings. It's my brother in law again and the baby is coming & telling me to come back over right NOW.
So I go back over and my sister is on all 4's getting ready to push (she was on the living room floor). I went to her head he went to the other end and in 15 minutes we delivered a baby boy. He is BEAUTIFUL.
So she had this baby at home (which she had planned but the mid-wife didn't get there in time.) And the baby was 10 pounds, 2 ounces, 20.5 inches long. His head was 15" around, his chest was 15" around and his shoulders were 17". My sister is a trooper. She was an amazing pusher and the baby was out after 4 pushes. Start to finish was about an hour!
So anyway, I just had to tell you about the best day of my ENTIRE life! I was part of their miracle. I feel so thankful!
Yeah for being an AUNT....again!
