Yesterday, I nailed my CF checkup!!!

In September 2008 (before the foster kids), my FEV1 was 64%. I'm not sure what the liter volume was exactly. My weight was 116 pounds.

Three weeks ago, I was at rock bottom. My FEV1 was 49% while my weight plummited to 104. I also had pneumonia and required three different IVs for the second time in 2 months...I was below bottom...

Yesterday, my FEV1 was all the way back up to 64% + a little extra!!! According to my CF doctor, my exact volume was HIGHER THAN THE WHOLE 2008 YEAR!!! My weight is getting there at 111 pounds. He was so happy that he said not to come back for 3 months!!!

The two weeks of Tobra, Ceftazadime, and Zyvox was murder, to be honest. I was going to the bathroom 6-7 times a day and experienced such massive nausea and vomiting. Zofran helped a little...I really don't know how I gained any weight...

Well, I survived and am feeling so much better. Thank you everyone for keeping me in your thoughts!!!<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/hugging.gif" border="0">
