I LOVE My New InCourage Vest!!!!!

So I finally got my InCourage vest this weekend.. And I LOVE IT! It makes treatments so much easier. No more foot peddle to sit on that I'd have to contstantly jump start, no more putting hoses back in. <br><Br>
I also love how it goes through it's settings automatically and changes it up .. I don't have to do a thing except concentrate on coughing! I love it! Does everyone else use the Quick Start or does anyone actually go in there and adjust ? <br><br>

This machine is great. It makes my ABI one look like it's from the 1800's! It also seems like it does a lot better job. To me, it feels like it does a better job of replicating a hand beating like my mom used to give me. I would recommend this to anyone who can get it covered by their insurance. <br><br>
Their customer service department seems really nice as well. I didn't feel bad calling and asking them questions throughout the process.

You should ask them to upgrade your software if you do not have that feature. I was told the quickstart was optimal programing and you only needed a different one if your doctor had written or wanted otherwise and that the quickstart is the 'optimized' settings programmed by Dr. Warwick.

Other than that just make sure that you frequently re-adjust your straps since I find they loosen significantly over course of a week or so.

my son has the incourage by respir-tech vest... I think it is a better machine than the hill-rom 104 that my daughter has....

my only thought about customer service is they have a guy on staff who has CF! I wish I could remember his name but it escapes me at the moment. So if you ever have an issue that you really want them to understand, he would be the one to ask for!
