Hi you all... I was allowed to return to this forum and since I can now respond and not just read everyone's posts like I have for the last year and a half, I want to say that I have missed many of you and I hope you are well. Since I am not sure if some of you log in anymore, I want to make a post to say I hope you are all fine and living life to the fullest. I have wanted to talk to you kittencaitlin and see how you are. I hope you got the lungs you were waiting for and I appreciate you helping me long ago. Randford, Jshet, Twistofchaos, kmhbeauty, and Static - I hope you all are doing well too. I have missed you all. There are people I did not mention here from this forum who are my good friends but I already correspond with them for a long time so no need to mention and I am so thankful for them. I hope you all are fine, I just wanted to say hi.

Thank you Melissa. My sons are doing well, we take it a day at a time. I hope we hear from some of those who haven't been on for awhile, I miss hearing from them. I appreciate your welcome back Melissa.

Welcome aboard, and I look forward to reading your comments and contributions again. The changes to the website and the change back to a familiar format have taken its toll on contributions and readers. I've been predicting the return of most of the 18,000 participants and Imogene has been faithful in her mission to provide a place that is warm and inviting.

As CysticFibrosis.com returns to a format that is more reliable and familiar to those who have been here more than one year, it's going to be a lot more lively and helpful. I would like to encourage you and all of the participants to reach out to the friends and colleagues who have been absent and tell them that they are missed and will find a familiar place when they return.

Imogene has changed the website several times over the last 20+ years for OUR benefit. It is not easy or cheap to do. On occasion every platform launch blows up on the pad, so to speak, unfortunately the last platform Imogene launched lacked the features of the previous one. It's back!

Hi Littlelab - my purpose for coming back on this forum is the same as I want this forum to be there for people with cf and their families who may have nobody outside of their doctors to talk with about cf and who need a friend with others facing the same battle. I do believe in being kind always to everyone and if you read my old posts they are filled with compassion and love for those with cf. My heart has poured out love to them and I have prayed to my God always for them. A forum setting can be brutal and I am not so sure all that are not here anymore are not here because of the new format. I wish I was able to stand up for the ones I have a heart for but I was unable to do so. I do hope they come back on because they are greatly missed. My main focus is no longer on this forum as I have made true friendships with others besides the friendship I have with my own son who has cf and those friendships have helped me cope and I am so thankful for that. I am promising myself to post only when someone really needs a friend and is in a battle and I will no longer be expecting anything from anyone else and only expect from myself and also be slow to anger. Thank you for your welcome back Littlelab. I have enjoyed reading your detailed scientific posts for years.

Twistofchaos - idk if you are out there and can read this but I'm going to take a chance that you are. I hope you come back on this forum because you are greatly missed. I appreciate your pm to me long ago when I was down. Please know that you are wanted here. I am specifically asking you Twist because I tried to see you a pm and it said you were not a user. I wish you would please come back. I also ask the others I mentioned too because they are also greatly missed and I hope you all are fine.

Just so you all know that I know I am not liked much by most of you but I have never been into trying to be popular and frankly I wish I could tell how much I care about that but I will hold back. I am still the same person I always was and I am so very proud of me. I love and care and have a huge heart that feels even for the people who don't like me but I will never stop telling it like it is except in the case of this forum I will hold back and the only reason I will do that is because I would go to the ends of this earth for my son and I truly think this forum helps people and is a place to share experiences so others can learn before mistakes are made and it is a place to make friends of which I have already from this forum for a couple of years and I have those friends in my life. I was the one that was contacted to come back and I chose to and I am thankful for this forum as it is a place of valuable info for people with cf and those who live with cf in their life. I hope everyone knows who comes to this forum that they are welcome even if they have a different opinion than the majority and even if they see things differently than the majority and even if they had trouble at some point because everyone on this forum has a different view and that they never feel outed for feeling the way they do as nobody has walked in the exact same shoes of another person. I will hold back but I still have it in me.
