I missed Great Strides Walk

I snoozed and we missed out on being able to walk in our town's Great Strides Walk.

Can people fundraise and coordinate their own private Great Strides walk?? I go to a church that is big on helping in the community-- I might get a lot of interest from them in participating.

I emailed the CFF today but I am itchy for some sort of answer. Does any one here know??

I am anxious to start raising awareness in my church and remind my extended family. I figured what a good way to do that through getting them involved in fundraising for CF.

We had a close friend die of CF about 6 years ago and we would walk in her memory.

Thats' a great idea!

From what I understand, they are called Wrap-around events. You can still include the money in Great Strides. You can even have a team name. We've had people do comedy nights. golf or poker tourneys etc.
