I think we are getting close

Hello everyone, your probably wondering whether Ashton is home yet.. Well of course we still have the poop issue going on but he is off of the TPN and on Alamintum formula(he hated the pregestimil) and he is gaining weight.. so all of that iss good but all of the sudden he has developed this aweful cough after he eats almost like reflux well he is on prevacid for this but he had a swallow study done today and he is spilling a little bit of his formula into his trachea so they are going to have to figure out how thick they want to make his formula to stop this problem.. Of course just another bump in the road.. They are going to draw his blood tomorrow to check his bilirubin to see if it is still elevated.. Also they are going to talk to the GI and pulmonologist on the thickining of his formula then hopefully we will get the ok to go home!!!

Christi, that is great news....my dd did the same thing and we had to make her formula, Neocate, very thick before she did that...no big deal tho...glad you are getting bring your little bundle home soon, I cant wait to see pictures.
