Hi,
My name is Michelle. I'm new to this forum. I am on Cystic-L & have been there for many years. I'm 33 years old & was diagnosed with cf when I was 3. I have a sister who is 3 years younger than me. She also has cf & cf related diabetes.
I live in Massachusetts. I have an almost 4 year old cocker spaniel, Jake, who is my baby. I am single (still live at home).
My cf is considered mild, although I feel it has been progressing. I am on iv's about 3 times a year. I just got my first port in Jan. & I absolutely love it.
I am on disability. I have a number of other health problems, such as fatty liver disease, impaired glucose intolerant, migraines, osteopenia, joint pain and serum sickness after iv antibiotics.
So that's a little summary about me. I hope to become a member of your "family" and contribute as much as I can.
Take care,
Michelle
