Hey Brittani,

I don't want to freak you out in any way shape or form, but if I were you I would call your doctor and have them do some blood test reguarding the thirst, particularly one for CFRD, cystic fibrosis related diabetes. When I was 13 years old I started getting really really thirsty all the time, and it turned out to be CFRD. Alot of people with CF develope it. Diabetes (if you don't know what it is) is a disease which affects the pancrease. Our pancreases don't produce insulin which is the thing which regulates the bodies blood sugar. Extreme thurst without relief is a symptom of hyperglycimia, high blood sugar, which is very not good. Like I said before I don't want to freak you out, but it is something to get checked, especially if you are pregnant. Just ask your doctor to check your current blood sugar, particularly your hemogloban A1C, that is a test which shows shows the amount of blood sugar in your body, your doctor will know what it is.

In terms of the insomina, I know whenever my blood sugar is out of wack it can affect my sleep pattern (hense the reason I am up at 3:30 in the morning)

I don't want you to stress, if you do have it it is definitely managable. Let me know what happens, good luck, xoxo!!!

Just a thought from my experience.....could you have oral thrush?

I had it in my mouth & throat which caused it to ALWAYS feel dry no matter what I drank or gargled with or how often!

Otherwise I would lean toward checking on diabetes also. Gesational diabetes if not CFRD.....

Good Luck!
