Im scared Update

So, I went for my second ultrsound yesterday. Baby is doing fine. He has a good strong heartbeat and is growing fine. Every time the tech would try to measure him he would jump all over the place, lol. Hes so funny! Im 14 weeks today and baby is due 31st Oct. Im still a little anxious but Im guessing that is normal. I have another prenatel appointment next week and will keep you all updated.

Congrats on having a good ultrasound. Isn't it great to see them in there? It is normal to be nervous and unsure. if you feel that you have more anxiety than normal then maybe that is something to talk to your doctor about. Also studies have shown that taking Omega-3s can help you feel less anxious so make sure you are getting enough in your diet (hard to do) or take a supplement.

I hate to break it to ya, but the worrying doesn't stop after the baby is born. I remember thinking, "if I just reach this milestone in pregnancy..." then "if I just reach delivery..." Then once my babies got here I worried about every little thing they did or didn't do and I still do that today. Right now I'm worrying about things like catching colds and sending them to kindergarten (will they be academically ready?) And they're not scheduled to go to kindergarten until fall 2009.

So welcome to motherhood! I know your baby is still in the womb, but it's all just part of being a mom. Congratulations!

Lol.....Im not new to motherhood Tara. I know what a worrysome time it can be. I have a son who will be 18 this year and identicle 13 year old boys with cf. Im just happy that my little one to be seems ok right now as we had such a rough start to the pregnancy. Thanks for the response.
