INCIID Scholarship

Hi Everyone,My husband and I just got married!! My husband is 33 years old and has cystic fibrosis.He is pretty much the most amazing man I have ever met We are getting ready to start our IVF process..at least the beginning steps, and I was hoping to find out if anyone has applied for the inciid scholarship and/or received it?I am not sure what to put in our application letter...obviously the truth and our story of course, but wording things can be so difficult.I was hoping for any advice from anyone who has applied...or words of encouragement in how you feel with cystic fibrosis in your life that could be reflected for a "stranger" to read.Thank you so much everyone!!Lindsey

Hello and welcome Lindsey. Congratulations on the wedding! So exciting.

Julie on this site applied for and was chosen for the INCIID scholarship. However, if I remember right she didn't end up using it, as she was already pregnant. I know in the past she has been more than happy to help others with their applications. Hopefully she sees this and responds.
