Increase cough during pregnancy

Around 14 weeks I took Keflex for my increasing cough. It seemed to work. Now at 20 weeks I am starting to cough more. It is a nagging cough. There does not seem to be much to bring up and what I do bring up is clear or very pale yellow. I do not feel sick but the cough can be a little wearing. I feel like I start to cough and then I get nervous/upset and that only makes it worse. If I try to relax or do something to take my mind of the cough it pretty much goes away. UGH! What would you do?

I had a strange cough at the end of my pregnancy. It started with a mild sore throat (no fever) that I took Zithromax for, and then the cough started next. I did another round of Zithromax and it went away. It was strange, my lungs felt irritated yet I didn't have the usual signs of illness such as very swollen glands, fever, fatigue, extra mucus, etc.

My cough was horrbile during my pregnancies and it got worse as I got bigger - but I wasn't sick. I think the pressure of my organs and baby pressing up against my lungs caused the irritation, as it was WAY better after birth. I would cough until i puked almost every morning. yuk.

i think my cough was worse during pregnancy. like wanderlost, i would cough each morning to the point of throwing up, it was so aggravating. then every month when i would go to clinic i would have to do pft's and that was horrible. i wouldn't cough all day until i did that. then i would cough and cough and nearly pee in my pants <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> thank goodness that is gone now, not sure what i'd do if i was still peeing all over my self. i'd have to say that was the worse part about being pregnant. i had no bladder control the last 2 1/2 months.
