We have been doing CPT's on my 9 month old since she was 2 months. Every night she screams and wrestles with us. I thought eventually she would learn it is part of the evening and be okay with it. NOPE! We have tried singing, listening to music, popsicles, books, stuffed animals, talking softly, etc. Does anyone have any tips? We are at a loss. Each night I am starting to dread the whole process.

Ellie was the same way at around that age. Have you tried letting her sit up and face you while doing it or having her stand and face you while doing it? Have you looked into the vest at all. Ellie was able to get hers at about 9 and a half months. She was such a wiggler

Emma is the same way. It is getting worse now because she is more mobile than she was before so she struggles more. Here is what we do:

We wait until she is taking a nap before we do the nebulizer. She usually wakes up when we start doing the patting. So we modify the positions a bit. Such as... Instead of laying her on her stomach across our laps we put the recliner in the reclined position and lay her on our chest on her stomach. I think it makes her feel more secure when she is cuddling up against us.

DS slept thru the early morning one and the late night one he'd usually fall asleep. The one right after work we had difficulties with because he wasn't sleepy and wanted to play, so he'd scream and throw fits from time to time. He did become interested in the evil purple dinosaur around that time and we could sometimes use Barney or Elmo dvds to keep him occupied.
