Truth in medicine!!!

I have met more than my share of drug pushers in my 58 years of dealing with the medical profession!!

It is about time the public knew how much their doctors are being influenced by drug companies!!

I am sure most are honest dedicated people but it is important for us to know why we may be getting a sales pitch on a new drug, whether it is for justifiable reasons or not.

Thank you for this. I have found with my husband that his doctors office use to push the "newest" of what was used for his problems. It never failed. Thankfully things changed & he caught on after we talked about it.

I cant say I have ever had this issue with my CF clinic or my daughters pediatrician....THANKFULLY!

Newsflash, the same thing goes on with automotive repair with the machanic always using the same brand parts, it even goes as far as school band directors influence parents to buy specific brand instruments, or from a specific store because they get a big fat check from the company if a certain percentage of their band uses their brand horns, bach and conn are the worst at it
