ING NY Marathon

I am the oldest sibling of three. My two brothers both have CF with my youngest more acutely affected. It is for this reason that I have decided to support a charity while I train and run the ING NY Marathon. I would appreciate the support and sponsorship as I complete each mile. For those who are available I also invite you to come down on November 2nd 2008 and partake in the festivities of the race and we challenge New Yorks streets. I appreciate all the help that is offered and I am looking forward to race day.

The site went live recently and all off line contributions will post soon.
I'd also like to invite people to offer pictures that I could post on the support page.

Thank you sincerely for your support, George Torounidis
For those who are in the Ronkonkoma, NY area feel free to contact me with any training tips or ideas since this is my first attempt at a marathon. I promise to finish.

Thank you believe I can use all the support I can get. To be honest I am more of a cyclist rather a runner. This is my first marathon and I can tell you so far that training for it is more than I expected. Is there a site you would recommend I should use as a blog page for it.
Please feel free to forward this to any one you feel might have an interest.
Thank you again for all the support.

Please check out "cdale613's Blog'--he's a cyclist. He has a great page that he and his brother set up for donating to CF. He may be able to help you. Good luck with the training, and please--start a blog here--we would love to go with you on this challenge...
