Hi everyone!

I stumbled onto this forum a few months ago but since I wasn't in the TTC game or pregnant and I have limited computer time w/ a 2 yo I left it alone for a while.

I am Caroline, 26 w/ CF. I have a 2.5 yo son named Logan who was born Feb 2005. My husband is Joshua and he is 29. I am currently taking a break from grad school so we decided that this would be a good opportunity to TTC #2. I just had a clinic visit today and my FEV1 was about 70% - great for me I've been hovering in the 60s for probably 5 years now. I attribute that to starting hypertonic saline last month and at the same time deciding that I needed the break from school so the stress has been lifted.

I had a normal pregnancy w/ Logan and gained about 18 lbs. I got sick twice and did IVs once, though now that I look back the IVs probably weren't necessary. My asthma got really bad and out of control for about the first 6 months of my pregnancy but then it magically disappeared and I could finally breathe I was induced 3 days before my due date as per the high risk OB's request and had a 9 hour labor and a normal vaginal birth with only stadol for pain relief. I don't think I could have managed without my doula. I am planning a home birth (and using hypnobabies) with a midwife for my next baby - I WILL NOT be induced again unless it is truly medically indicated. I think my peri likes to play on the safe side and is totally into medically managed births. I discovered I'm the complete opposite

I am nearing ovulation time and hope to catch the egg on the first try. I bought some pre-seed and I also chart my cycles on fertility friend. Fingers crossed
