Irregular heartbeat

The last few days I have been having an irregular heartbeat. Either it is beating extra beats or really hard to where I'm really aware of it. Strangely, it doesn't seem to change my pulse rate. Anyway, I thought it might be from albuterol or xopenex, but it can occur like 4 hours after taking it.

This did happen another time for about a month, but we decided that was due to caffeine. I was drinking about a 6-pack of soda a day and had added Excedrin for jaw pain (pertaining to a dental problem) several times a day. Apparenty, Excedrin has more caffeine in it than a soda. Currently, I rarely (maybe once a month) have a caffeniated beverage.

Anyway, any thoughts?

Can't really help, but i've been having a strange fluttery feeling in my chest for a while now. It happens most when i lie in bed on my right hand side. Its not a nice feeling its like as though my heart skips a beat and i have to cough. Its very hard to describe but i find it stops if i turn over or lie on my back. I mentioned it to my hospital who did an EGC which came back normal so i've not mentioned it since. Didn't know if its stress related as it comes and goes and i am quite stressed at the moment.

I can relate to the weird heart beats. My heartbeat is regularly fast (between 90 and 100 BPM at rest), which I have been told is not a big deal. Sometimes it beats really hard for no reason. I had that fluttery feeling when lying on my left side when I had a PICC in my left arm. I told the nurse about it, and she said it wasn't a big deal. I imagine it should have been pulled back an inch or two. Since then, I have felt the fluttery feeling occasionally, where I almost feel like I need to cough and take a big gasp. Granted, I stress pretty easily and let anxiety affect my body. I feel stress in my stomach all the time, so I don't see why it wouldn't affect the heart, too. It worries me, but it doesn't seem to worry any doctors, so I've mostly just ignored it.
