is it a guarantee that you will have to get sinus surgery at some point?

I've had polyps removed twice. The first time, I think I was 9 years old. The second time, I was around 13-14. I was told a couple years ago that I had polyps in the right side again, so I'm assuming at some point I'm going to have them removed again.

I've had 5 sinus surgeries to remove pollyps. The first at 7 and last at 19. Since then, my pollyps have not grown back--13 years! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I dont think its a guarantee. Like so many other things with CFers....some people have more sinus issues then others.

The ENT I go to said I have pretty good sinuses for a CFer & doesnt see me needing surgery for anything sinus related (at least not for a while).

I do believe that if you are prone to issues you will continually have them which is why if it was me with polyps I wouldnt jump to surgery first.
