Is this typical results after starting enzymes?

My 7.5 year old daughter, who has "mild" pancreatic insufficiency (FE = 145), started Creon last Monday. She has done fantastic. Her daily stomach aches have gone. She has gained a pound and we have stopped her periactin since it does not really seem necessary at the moment. Just curious if this is typical results? The only side effect we have seen is bad breath.

She had sweat test levels of 38 and 41 so we will have the Ambry test done at the end of the month.

That is wonderful!! It sounds like she's had a very good response to the Creon. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> My daughter responded pretty quickly as well with weight gain... we also saw a change in her stools in addition to weight gain and decrease in stomachaches, etc.

I'm so happy to see that your daughter has done so well and I hope she continues to gain!
