I know this is a very controversial topic so please only postive responses, thank you.


Our daughter is 7 months old and we were wanting to have our kids around 2-3 years apart in age. So we want to start figuring out the process. So a few questions!

1. How much did it end up costing you? Did you get insurance to pay for part?

2. How long did it take to get pregnant? Did you have to do multiple cycles? If so did you have to pay for each attempt?

3. Anything I should know?

I didnt see to look if you posted in the pregnancy section, but if not I recommend it.

We have tons of members who have been through this & can be of great assistance. To avoid "issues" with controversy I would suggest keeping it in that section since its the "safe/designated" area.

Hi.I did IVF/PGD and have a healthy two year old as a result! It was one of the greatest decisions for our family. No,insurance would not cover PGD. They did cover IVF. It took us three cycles to have Gavin. I did not respond well to the meds even though I have no problems with fertilty. Our first son Aidan was conceived naturally and has CF. Gavin is our second. We used Dr Hughes in Michigan with Genesis Genetics. Best of luck!
