does anyone seem to have joint issues? mine crack and pop a lot. i am seeming to have more issues with my left hip. it pops a lot and sometimes gets some pressure built up in it to where i will stop what i'm doing and try and get it to pop on my own. i've also noticed that when i walk upstairs my right ankle cracks. i was just wondering if anyone else has issues like this?

It's funny, my ankle pops like crazy too when I walk up stairs...and I think it's my right one. I have no clue as to wether it's CF related or not. I take a supplement called Glucosamine Chondroitin to help with joint pain. I also heard that Omega 3 Fatty Oils can help...

Yea mine do that a lot. It is mostly my knees, ankles and hips, although I can purposfully crack all of my joints if I wanted to. When I was sick recently, those three joints were also very painful. I am guessing it is a small bit of arthritis.

Mine also get stiff if I sit for too long. At the movies, I am constantly moving my legs and then when I get up at the end of the movie, it takes a minute to adjust/loosen up.

Everything, and I mean everything, pops on me...except my fingers which I think is funny since most people only crack their finger knuckles.

I always figured everything pops because I was a gymnast as a kid: by stretching so compulsively, I created extra spaces between my joints for fluid to get into. Now, I have only met one other former gymnast with the same crackability as me so my theory is likely BS.

I wouldn't be surprised if my broncheictasis and my joint issues are all part of a connective tissue issue. But I test negative for the RA factor and my joint pain, which isn't too big a deal, always comes with a lung inflammation...except for some finger joint pain--the stuff I don't crack!
