Thanks for asking, you are so sweet!!!
It's a combination of taking care of the babies and trying to recover, plus we are still having stupid computer issues. I'm trying to update the website as well, going back to the day I was admitted to the hospital (august 31st) through now. I'm also trying to get pictures loaded onto a computer to put on the website.... it's all not going very well.
The babies are doing well, thank you so much for asking (I saw it in another post on the next page). They are on 4 hour feeding, and my mom is here helping out 2-4 days a week, sometimes 5 days and she stays the night most days as well, which really helps.
I am pumping and giving the babies breast milk, that is fortified with a teaspoon of neosure formula per 90ml. I still can't believe that I am pumping enough milk for all 3 babies. The neosure is just added (the powder, not water) to give them more calories. We should be discontinuing it in the next month or so.
Tristan weighs 6lbs 15oz, Cassie weighs 6lbs 10oz and Ryland weighs 6lbs 7oz. They have almost outgrown all of their preemie clothes and are about ready to move onto the newborn/0-3 month clothes. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH. Yesterday was out last day of preemie size diapers too. Ryland still fits well in them and doesn't blow them out, but the other two are much too big for the diapers and are blowing right out of them, LOL. Life is so fun!
Mark and I have also been sharing a cold back and fourth, which has worn both of us down a lot. And I am still fighting wit the military about my leave. They are sticking by granting me only 6 weeks. So my doctor told wrote a not imposing restrictions on what I do when I return to work (i.e. for 4-6 weeks she recommends that I be at a desk job and not on my feet, she recommends that I have 1/2 days-4 hours a day, not lift more than 10 lbs, no strenuous exercise...).
Of course, they have to battle that too. They told me that they will give me 2 weeks of "light duty" and re-evaluate after that (of course, they won't). But I guess it's better than nothing. I don't want to spend the rest of my convelescent leave fighting them, I just want to enjoy my time off and my babies.
So that's the update. I hope to have some photos to post here or on our website in the next few days.
Thanks again for asking, and sorry for not posting earlier. I would get on, get ready to post or respond to PM's and then someone would need to be fed, held, changed... LOL. I love motherhood (really, I do!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">)
