I had my clinic visit today. I have been kinda congested lately and thought my PFTs might have gone down, but they were at 79% which is actually up a bit, so that was nice to hear. I mentioned I wanted to try the hypertonic saline, and so they gave me a nebulizer, but have to locate a pharmacy to mix it up. I am really excited about it. If it will reduce my coughing I may actually start running. I haven't done it because I think it is so embarrassing to be hacking up a lung on the street and having people stop and ask if I am OK and all that. I told my doc I want to be the only (well hopefully you guys will be there too) - I want to be the first CFer at 85 still cooking and with original lungs. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> only about 50 years to go! Oh, and the dietician told me I was a little overweight for my height, so that running should help that also - and I do have pseudenomas. I never knew, after all these years - but he said I culture them sometimes and not other times, so they must not have grown too out of control (or is that normal) they are type 2 or something like that - any pseudemona info would be nice. So all is well, and I will be happy to report on this saline thing, I know some others are getting started with it too. And, we go in for our insemination on Feb 10th, so I'm praying that works and I will have that good news to report too!
