the news channel on my facebook showed this, now everybody who is in the right mind would agree that the school district should allow the change and let her walk with her friends, but the story upsets me more and more everytime i see it just calling her a "sick teen" or everyone thinking she should get special treatment just because she has CF. i know i just want people to treat me like a normal person and being told no sometimes is ok to me and i have learned what i should fight for and what not to. so i would just like to know everyones feedback

Hi Jimbo! (Like your name!). Thank you for sharing! I had not seen that story. I am glad her parents are filing against the school district as it is only one class! I have two children, one with CF and one without CF. If that happened to either one of them that they would miss graduation due to one class I would do the same. I hope she gets to walk with her class after all the years of schooling and also battling this disease and still pushing forward. I do not agree with the philosophy that she is a "sick teen" as every person on this earth has a day that they will pass away, some today, and nobody is guaranteed a single thing. I understand your feeling as you should be treated like a regular person because you are. Every person has different things in their life that makes them different from the next person, some things are just more obvious or well-known. That's my opinion anyways but I have been known to give the wrong "opinion" before.
