Just wondering

Just wondering if most people get copies of the results from their testing from their CF center. When I call to see if my sons test results are in they act like it is such a bother. (Actually it is only one nurse in particular)I feel like she is questioning me for wanting to know my sons results. I'm thinking about telling them I just want a copy of every test result he has when I go to our next appointment; so then I have the results. Usually I wouldn't complain but this is my son and I want to make sure I stay on top of things. Plus I want to make sure nothing gets missed.

Our clinic doesn't automatically give parents paper copies of test results and they aren't even that good about calling us with the results (I don't think they have ever called me about test results without me calling them first), but when I ask they do give us paper copies. I feel the same way though that they think I'm being weird because I want a copy, but oh well they can roll their eyes at me if they want. I keep a huge filing system of all tests and procedures for my son. We see many different doctors at a couple different hospitals and it has come in handy more than once to be able to pull out the lab results or test results and hand them to the other doctors.
