I never go to prayer request site, (I'm ashamed to say) so I thought you all should know in case you don't either . . . Please keep this mother in yur thoughts and prayers . . . and thank you Joni for bringing it to my attention. My heart is breaking for Lisa. <img src="i/expressions/brokenheart.gif" border="0">
. . . "The doctors have delivered the worst news one can hear. You know, the "there's nothing more we can do for you, go home and spend time with your little girl" speech. The words that you dread ALL those years. That is what they told Kari. I am still in denial and feel like I am having the WORST nightmare ever. But it is TRUE. She really will not be with us too terribly much longer. She will HAVE to leave Mayah, her 5 yr old daughter. (Kari is 26 yrs old , cf, and has had TWO lung tx's). And IRONICALLY it seems that kidney failure is what will take her!!! I just,........................ just....... need to ask for some prayers. NOT for a miracle, just that maybe for ONCE in her young life that she could be free of so much pain for JUST A MINUTE!!! That she can go peacefully. Thanks for listening."
