does anyone have their child on this program??? or has anyone ever applied for it??


thanks Melissa mom to dylan 6 no cf and caleb 4wcf and broke his wrist on his bday......grrr

We are trying to get out daughter on a similar program. They call it the HCBS waiver here in CO. We are currently on the waiting list. We are hoping to be near the top by next Jan. I have also heard that if they get on a program like this then they sill automatically get SSI when they turn 18 as long as they aren't making more than $2000/mo. It is a touhg process I have heard. If they deny ou can always appeal.

We have it! It's excellent. Of course we also have insurance, but Katie Beckett picks up almost everything else, copays I mean. First you have to be denied SSI, then you'll be accepted!
