Maggie started kindergarten on Tuesday. So far, so good. She gets up at 6 am, does her 3 nebs and VEST then she goes on the bus at 8 am with her big bro. I pick her up at 3pm; then home for neb and VEST. Maggie loves school, loves it. She is self-administering her enzymes. Yes I know, she's 5. I found these pill pouches at the drug store, basically tiny ziplock bags for pills. I write snack for snack enzymes and lunch for her lunch enzymes and put them in her lunch box. She knows snack begins with s and lunch begins with L and the teacher just tells her to take her lunch or snack enzymes. maggie likes doing ti herself. I send G2(sugar free gatorade) and a thermos of water. So that's it.

So far, I'm doing good; when cold and flu season hits I'm sure I'll be anxious. I enjoy seeing her have fun and making new friends. It's bittersweet.

Ah Kindergarten, got to love it. U r so lucky the school allows her to keep her enzymes with her. That is my only complaint with my son's school is that even at 11, he has to go to the nurses office to get his pills, and they even require this of their high school students.

Can I ask u why u do the sugar free gatorade. My son drinks alot of it because of all the activity he is doing, but I give him the regular, because I feel the calories are good, better weight gain, I've got to love that little extra 5lbs of fat he has and so does the clinic, and when he has had a bout of sickness he guickly loses it, but has it to lose. Just wondering?
