Labled Meds for Travel

I know that when traveling that our meds should be in correct bottles with labels etc to avoid Security issues.

I just realized that my Enzymes which I get in lots of 90 day supplies dont have the labels on each individual bottle. The label goes on the package of bottles. Actually most of my meds in 90 day supplies are like that unless they can put them all in one bottle like Bactrim etc.

I suppose I could get actual labels printed off by the pharmacy for each bottle that I take, but I dont know if it will be that big of an issue.

I dont know how much different security on a cruise line is compared to air lines.......

Thoughts?!

your pharmacy will gladly print you off extra labels and it isnt that big of an issue for them. My pharmacy does it all the time for me so that I have individual labels for Samantha's bottles when she visits her dad and when she was in preschool.

All that the plane people looked at for me was the liquids. I dont even know if they saw my other shopping bag of meds...lol. I am sure if they are concerned they will just swipe your bag with the wand and test it for "bomb" residue.

I know the last time I flew before my transplant I went to the pharmacy and had them print out multiple labels of EVERY medication I take - just in case. I labelled the individual bags of Pulmozye and Tobi that I took that way I didn't have to take the entire box with me as well as the bottles and such.

Have fun on your trip.
