i have been gone for a while and i came back today to see how people are, i have noticed we have lost some friends and i feel bad that i havnt been on here earlier. its always sad to hear of a passing, and i know as a patient it hits really hard. I wanted to get out there and say that i pray for each family of there loss, and to those who were lost to breath easy. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families.

I am also glad to see a responce about the people that have inspired me, and broke my heart when they passed away. <img src="i/expressions/brokenheart.gif" border="0"> This is nothing personal to any one! It seems that a week will go by and you might find that person that passed on page 5 or 6. That really breaks my heart!
It feels like people don't want to talk about them. To me it feels like an over whelming saddness comes over me. It seems as if they are suppose to be forgotton. Well, I won't forget them, and will talk about them.
I could be totally wrong.I know people react in many different ways when people die. I just think it is so sad that when families are suffering over their loved one, and are asking for support and help, you don't see that many responce's. There are a few that are very consitant with keeping up with the families and the loved ones that have left this journing and are not with us any more.
I just wonder if we are so caught up into our own stuff, that when someone is begging for our help, Where Are We??????
How many of us are still checking in on Sarah, the mother who knows her precious little boy "Conner" just had his last b-day this year?
I'm sorry, I know I am venting, it could be that I am still grieving over all those that we have lost. And I am wondering how their families are doing today, like right this min. What are they feeling? Tomorrow is Mothers Day, and my heart hurts thinking about Jazz. And Emily's mother, my heart goes out to them.

Karla, I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel like some of us keep up with them RIGHT at that moment, but then stop. I keep up with Conner/Sarah non-stop as they are on my facebook. I too was thinking about Emily and Evas mom this morning as well (or any momma of a CFer). I have some other friends that are on a downward slope right now and my heart breaks for them and their parents. Its just hard, and sometimes its hard for some of us to keep up with it b/c its hits closer to home. I know that when my lung function was low(30's) I had a hard time reading about death b/c I felt it was knocking at my door, but now that I am healthier (though hearing about Emily scares the crap out of me) I don't find it as hard to read....
