leg pain

Alyssa keeps complaining that her leg hurts. I don't see anything or feel anything below the skin. She says it at least once a day, sometime several times a day. Sometimes she limps a little, but it definitely comes and goes.

Is there anything CF related that I should be ware of, or is this likely just a regular kid thing, such as growing pains?

Unless she could possibly be dehyrated, low in potassium or have used Cipro lately.......I would think its just a kid thing.

I remember Jazmine having those. Thought it would never end. She woke up in the middle of the night screaming. I would have to massage it....

Hope it ceases soon!

My daughter is 4 and she complains of the same thing. It seems to be when I want her to do something though. She also does it with her arm. It is like she just doesn't want to do what I have told her needs to be done, so she starts whining that her leg hurts or her arm hurts...yet just before that she was running around or something. We have just started to believe that it is just to get out of doing things. Sometimes I do wonder though if she is not lying. It is hard to tell at that age. She will do it almost daily too.

Neither of them has ever taken abx that could cause bone pain to my knowledge (I never even took it into consideration when it's happened) but I have tried to ensure they were hydrated and given them foods that were a good source of potassium when it was happening a lot.
