Okay, just kidding.
I got to speak with Lindsey's mom again this evening. As of 6:30pm Lindsey was sitting in a bedside recliner, about to have some Glucerna (not sure about the spelling of that) to drink. Her sugars have been in check and she has been getting pain relief with the epidural. The chest tubes will be in for about 5-6 days, and she'll keep the epidural while they are there. She is potentially going to a regular floor tomorrow. Lindsey's excited about getting some cards and is pleased people asked. The ICU has certain times people can't be there, but Kurt will get to spend the evening with her late into the night. The family has worked out a nice schedule so Lindsey won't be alone, but she won't be overwhelmed with visitors either.
Now a special message from Lindsey's Mom, Cindy... She wants you to know how important all of your support is to her. She feels your prayers and thoughts, and it brings her a great deal of comfort. She wanted me to tell you all thank you and that it does her heart good to know that her Lindsey has been taken in by so many of you. I know she came hear tonight to read your messages. I hope she is able to get some good sleep tonight.
