Mannatech Ambrotose

I'm wondering if any parents here use Ambrotose for their kids? We're considering giving it a try. Our Morgan is 15 months and 20 lbs. If you have a child close to this age how much a day do you give them?

Anyone's experiences w/ this product would be wonderful, either good or bad.

Misty, if you use the search feature and type in mannatech or ambrotose or both in the subject line and highlight all categories, you should come up with quite a few previous discussions about this. It has gone back and fourth in depth about the pros and cons and you might find a lot of information there by digging up some old posts <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. I personally have no clue, but thought that might be a good place to start.

Mannatech's products are not sold in stores, but is handled by a group of individuals (called "Associates")in a Multi-Level Marketing setup (the most well known MLM is Amway).

I've read these websites and testimonies on both sides for this product. Does anyone here use it? If so, how much for a 15 month old per day???

I personally would not use it, especially on a child so young.
Mannatech has done no studies on their products despite the fact that the CF foundation has asked them to, as stated by Bambi on the thread I posted.
If you really want to use it, consult your doctor first, and figure out a plan of action <i>before</i> starting anything new.
Other than that I cannot add any more info, or provide any advice.
Some on here might add to this, but I'm not sure how many.

I'm another in the group advising against Mannatech. They stink of "scam" to me with the marketing practices and the refusal to submit to or apply for grants for standardized testing.
