Marriage and CF

Hi All,
I am working on some new resources to help us (including me!!) navigate the marriage/ couples relationship when we have kids with CF. I've heard it said that having a child with a chronic illness can bring a couple together or tear them apart. For us, it's really done both. And the good news is we are still together but can certainly do more to work on our relationship.

So, that's what I am working on. I have been working with a real expert on this. Her name is Laura Marshak PhD and she wrote the book called "Married with Special Needs Children." (It's so helpful and I highly recommend it).

Anyways, she has so kindly agreed to help me create some resources for our community. To start out, I have created a new little pamphlet called "Staying Connected as a Couple." The article she wrote has really helped me alot.

Here's a link to read, download or print it. I hope to have copies available for the CF clinics in Sept/Oct.

We also just finished some video filming so hope to get some of that out sometime soon, too.

Let me know what you think of the couples pamphlet. I am really excited about it.

Hugs and Hope!
