Just in case anyone was wondering, Mike was discharged on Monday night. He feels so much better. His pfts were back up to 27% which is the same as they were after his hospital stays in December and March. Yay! He hasn't lost anything! He has also started hypertonic saline which helps a LOT. He had tried it once before but they ahd given him 9% which was WAY too harsh. Now he is on 7% which he can handle and makes him cough up so much junk! he also gained 10 pounds (and he was at a pretty good weight before) so he looks so healthy. I am so glad he is staying so healthy for his transplant!!! He gets tired really easily and needs his O2 a lot more than before but things could be worse. We are very lucky!

That is so good to hear! I wish you both all the best. I just have to say that I love the Hypertonic Saline. It works wonders.
