Yup chalk another one up for me...I get all the side effects. This time my finger joints and the palms of my hands were turning blue, as in bruise-ish colors. At one point my hands looked grayish against my moms. Also I was feeling very dizzy with this med. I could hardly bend over to pick things up off the floor or even shelves.

So I called the on-call line at my hosp and spoke with my doctor (lucky he was on-call) and he advised me to stop the meds. Wish me luck off all oral abx, this could be interesting...

Has this reaction happened to any of you before? My doctor had never heard of this happening, but I read it in the medicine info pamphlet.

My husband is actually on mino right now (not CF) and has been complaining of light headedness/loopiness and joint pain in his knees.

I've been on minocycline for about three months now, and I still have to get up slowly from sitting, bending, or lying down. Luckily I haven't noticed any other side effects! It's always so frustrating when the side-effects of meds are worse than the problem they're supposed to treat!
