my boys sweat tests...

Hi everyone,

The boys sweat tests results are back. Caleb is 51 & 52, Alex is 51 and 50. They go back on the 13th, same day as Zoe's appt. We will sit down with Zoe's doctor then, get some more tests going, pft's, x-rays, blood work, etc... Dalton (who hasn't had the dna analysis done yet) sweat numbers were 21 & 23. The adult cf clinic called today, spoke with me for over 1/2 hour. They are very interested in our case and want to see Dalton. They will be ordering his dna analysis. He is 19, so they want to see him there instead of at Zoe's clinic.
Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers. It looks positive for cf though. Hopefully, they will be mild cases.

Sounds like their sweat test numbers are about what you normally see with their gene combination.

Best of luck -- if you haven't already done so, please take a peak at my blog about my kids -- they are A-typical cases and definitely on the mild side so far (age 18 & almost 21) If I remember correctly you said your boys have the same gene combination as my kids.
