my sister is ten years younger than i am and she's got CF since she was about three months. Now she is 6, but she is still not attending any school and she doesn't go to kindergarten regularely, because we are afraid she might get ill and then she doesn't recover for at least one week or two.
What shall we do ? Do you have any advice for us?

i got one do the home school thing ,search out and find one in the area.less germs and your child will do better in a smaller group anyhow

There are many things you can do, i'm 15 and have CF and attend main stream school. Home tutoring is an option, i had that when i was in my first year of high school cause i was really ill, but as i seem to get older i seem to adapt to a normal life i am still ill but i love coming to school everybody's great! if you are worrired about your sister missing out see what you can do either by asking her doctor or even asking other people with CF and see what they would advise Eveybody's different.
