National Great Strides Team Help

Hi. A friend of mine is looking to walk for our great strides team at the walk location in her area. Plus my cousin is interested for where she lives too. Can anyone tell me what being a National Team means? I know the team needs to raise at least $20,000 and heard something about a monthly conference call, but not who participates in them.
Any info you could give would be great. My CFF contact is relatively new to the CFF, so she is learning along with me.

We have a national team. I registered it as a national team through our CFF rep, because in the past few years we have had teams walking in 5-7 locations around the country. This is our first year on the "national" list, in the past I just had other teams created at different locations.

I have been asked to participate in the monthly conference calls -- but they aren't mandatory. I was able to do the one last month, but this month neither time worked out for me.

I have never heard anything about having a $20,000 minimum fundraising. I don't believe we've ever come that close, even with 7 teams.
