Okay, this may get moved, but I wasn't sure where to put it, so...
I was in church this morning, and I started thinking about asking our church to pray for me. I haven't done that in many years, and only once at an smaller evening service at this big church we go to now. So I was pondering what all was involved in getting that to happen, especially since I was in the balcony . Then I thought maybe I should talk to one of the pastors first, etc....
(I recently found out that I have been reading my PFTs wrong (-my FEV1 is 20 % lower than I thought for years, that I have CFRD, I am on my 2nd round of antibiotics for a stubborn sinus infection, and I found out that my nebulizer wasn't working right for a while, and I didn't realize it -it went back to Pari last week. And I have a clinic appointment Thursday. *sigh*)
So I sat there, and at the end of the service the pastor did something we hadn't done before. He prayed, and then asked that if we wanted prayer, to raise our hands (this part we have done before). But then he asked church members to go to the people who had their hands up, and to pray for them. And 2 ladies did that for me .
It is just so reassuring when God reminds me that He knows my needs and desires before I do, and makes arrangements accordingly .
It was a good morning .
