neb mask for toddlers

I'm totally fascinated by the sterilizing thread, but I've got a mask user too. With every other Pulmozyme order, I get a free hand-held thingy (I don't know how he's supposed to use it!), but it's not the mask-- which he likes a lot... And now I'm out of proper accesories for the mask-- none of which could ever be boiled anyhow. It's a jolly good thing he's not yet exhibited signs of lung damage because I suspect we're not totally in the super sanitary department over here.

Which is just one more reason why we're finally switching CF centers! I hope the new place is more definitive and helpful--

Anyone? Anyone?

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question, but I sterilize the masks with the nebs after every use. They don't melt in our steam sterilizer, but I have to remove them as soon as the cycle is over otherwise they get warped and cloudy.

The sidestream neb doesn't come with a mask, does it? We just use pari's for everything. Mask with the tobi and pulmozyme. Bubbles the fish mask.

How old/big can they be and still use bubbles the fish mask? Cheyenne still uses a mask. It came to my attention that I was using the wrong neb cup for her meds, so I got a pari neb cup but it wont work with our mask. I dont think she gets enough of the medicine with the mouth piece (I may be wrong, it has happened). The adult masks are too big for her face, so she looses alot of med that way too.

I'm 21 and still use Bubbles the fish! PARIs adult masks are HUGE and as far as I know they don't make any plain peds masks so when I want to use a mask...its bubbles

I've ordered from american allergy supply, gotten freebies from the CF clinic and I think you can also order them here from the pari site. I had to order filters for the compressors anyway, so I ordered a couple spare bubbles from american allergy. The biggy when I order is trying to find free or low cost shipping. I'd hate to have to spend $7.95 on shipping for a $5 piece of equipment.
