ok so I have asked the clinic 3 times now how to sanitize the mask..they say boiling it which makes no sense to me at all.. I put it in my bottle sanitizer and it has melted one.. I put it in the dishwasher and it shrinks it over a few times... is this a common problem..If so I am going to need a supply of masks. from experience is it easier to oder off line or through the pharmacy.. I can get them when I am at the clinic, but in times like now when I am improvising with an infant size to small for him,,, looks like a turtle or dinosaur. the one I just melted was way too big anyway looked like a duck. I looked it up and it was for 3 year olds, not quit fitted for a 3 month old.. so I don't know what to get what to ask for and how to obtain it.. please help

What nebulizer are you using? We use the Pari with the infant mask. They have 3 sizes of infant masks. The infant masks can be boiled. I boil Isabella's after every use and have no problems.

The masks that can't be boiled are the 'bubbles the fish' type masks. My older daughter uses these and we just wash them in hot soapy water. We boil the other parts of her nebs.

We get our nebs through American Allergy Supply.

Oh... Pari told me I COULD boil the bubble fish masks, but they'll loose their color. I just pour the boiling water from the pot that I boil nebs in over it.

I use a baby nipple holder thing for the diswasher and wash the masks too. I'm considering buying the Germ Guardian dry sterilizer. Some here have said it was great.
