nebulizer problems

While I left a message for the nurse coordinator recently, I really need help now. Guess I'd better locate the instructions/information from the company (easier said than done at our house), and call them ASAP too.

It's this: the tube got stuck in the machine's connection point last week, and now the other end of the same tube is now stuck in the cup! Putting it out in the Chicago winter hasn't helped, either-- that was my first try.

Any opinions?

I hate it when that happens. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">
I just wrap the tube around my hand & jerk as hard as I can.

You know, I tried that... real hard. Strong husband tried too. After a week, the light JUST went on: cut it off. I do have many other tubes... DUH! But I did try icing and heating to no avail.

Put a hot cloth around the connection. This will make the tubing loosen up. It happens to me a lot. It might take a few times to get it loosen enough to pull it off! The first time I didnt have the strength in my hands so I have to use a pair of plyers to grip it and twist/pull it off.l
