I'm sorry I don't remember the dose that I took when I was trying to get pregnant. I think that some google searching will get you an answer. Or you can just take the dose it says on the package

Also when using an OPK kit, how accurate is it? I've been thinking about getting one of these...as I'm not sure just exactly when I ovulate I think it's nearly 2 weeks after my period but i'm not sure.
So i'm assuming mucinex is not the best drug to take and best to stick with Robitussin...?

If you really want to start "trying," I would do some research on Basal Body Temperature Charting & use an ovulation kit. I bought my testing strips online & they were very cheap compared to going to the store to buy them.
These two things will help you accurately figure out when you are ovulating!
I'm sure the mucinex helps, I just couldn't take it because of my lungs bleeding. Other people didn't have that problem... but now i take the robitussin & my lungs are fine.
